Does anyone know how to connect/use a xbox controller as if it was a guitar hero guitar?

I love using the xbox 360 controller for guitar hero 2/3 and aerosmith, but they took that feature away for woirld tour, and for rock band 1/2, does anyone know if it's possible to use a xbox 360 controller as if it was a gh guitar?

for only guitar hero3 but all others you have to buy games
