I have a question about recording music if anyone is familiar with that stuff?

I'm a guitar player but I don't have a band but I create my own riffs or originals, I know most people go into a recording studio with a full band and with other musicians where I can't so with that said are there possible ways to record full jam track even without a full band in a studio environment?

Basically I'll be doing it a lone with the sound engineer.
