I bought a second-hand Marshall MG30FX guitar amplifier. When I switch to Crunch mode, there's noise (like electrical echo). Is this malfunction, or bad performance of the amplifier, or anything wrong with the other settings?

Answer
When you use "high gain" channels, any guitar noise or line interference will be amplified as well.
If you are using a "strat" guitar, you are hearing pickup hum. also make sure the amp is plugged into a grounded outlet and make sure other electronic devices like TVs are turned off.

Try getting a better "shielded" guitar cable and if you are using a distortion pedal, turn down the gain of distortion. Or turn down the amp gain a little to see if it helps.
