My granddaughter is away at a university, and she loves video games. I know she has a playstation 3 with that guitar game and some other one. What are some other good video games that i could buy her?

For sure there is a really nice game out."Little Big Planet"
It does not have any limits about any age.
a child loves paling it.a teenager loves to play.an old person does too.
In last word it is excellent.
Also i saw the first answer to your question too by "kira" ,don't buy does shooting games for her .those ones are just shooting games,i guess they are not suitable for your granddaughter .I have played all of those.I am sure.

Seeking guitar game that listens and grades the player?

I am looking for guitar game that actually listens to the player and would grade their performance.
Preference would be something PC/software based or I found some cool/free guitar tuning and chord apps for my android cell phone. Games like Guitar Hero don't interest me. Something free/open source would be great, and something that teaches music, chords, lessons would be neat. Thanks for reading my question.

How to time music for a guitar hero game?

I am making my own guitar hero game with game maker. i need to time the beats of songs properly, but i can't figure out how. For instance, I need to be able to record that a certain syllable occurs at 123 milliseconds, etc. Is their a program that can help me break down the notes of a song or play it very slowly and time it?
