How can I get my wireless Rockband guitar to work with Guitar Hero on PS2?

I bought Rockband for my PS2 and want to use the wireless guitar to work with Guitar Hero for PS2. Looking under google, it works but I can't figure it out. The little box that plugs in to the console blinks when the Rockband disc is in but doesn't blink when Guitar Hero III is in. Just wondering what I need to do?

Hey - I have rockband and my guitar won't work on guitar hero. i was always told that guitar hero guitar CAN work on rockband, but rockband guitar cant work on guitar hero. sorry!

I have the wireless guitar that came with guitar hero 3 for PS2. But I went to play the 80's version and the guitar only let me put in my band name and career options. But when it came to play the songs and use the tabs it wouldnt work. Can anyone help me I really wanna jam out, but I cant and dont want to have to buy a new controller.

Well, the SG guitar for GH 1 works for:

-guitar hero 1, 2.

The SG guitar for GH 2 works for:

-Guitar hero 2, 80's, 3.

The Kramer Pacer for GH 3 works for:

-Guitar Hero 3.

Therefore, not backwards compatible.

the most popular is guitar hero legends of rock at the moment, but in june 08 a new aerosmith guitar hero is coming out. gh3 on ps2 pros are that it has a wide selection of songs for all people, great party game. some cons are that if you put it on a high def tv it lags you can calibrate it but its still not as good. The guitar to buy is defiantly the Kramer as it is wireless and looks great. The other games are a bit out of date. All up the whole gh3 package on ps2 is around 80 - 90 bucks.

Where can I take old, slightly broken Guitar Hero equipment and other electronics for money?

I have some old Guitar Hero (PS2) equipment, drum set and guitar, that I no longer use. A few wires have come loose, nothing major, so I don't wanna just toss it all in a junkyard if there is someone who could repair it and use it. So where could one take such items to sell? What sort of venue? I also have an old laptop that has a battery that is worn out, that I also no longer use.

Will PS2 Guitar Hero extra faceplate work for both PAL and NTSC version?

I want to buy an extra faceplate for the Guitar Hero PS2 game. The details of the faceplate I am looking at say it is for PAL, but will the faceplate also work on the NTSC controller since it is just a faceplate and not any of the electroncs of the controller? THANKS!
