doesn't it keep rotating or slipping? cause the guitar picks i use are alway slipping :(

thanks

Answer
Yes it is supposed to keep the pick from slipping.

You can also use either a slightly textured nylon pick or you can take a piece of sandpaper and rough up both sides of your pick a little to create a better grip.

Or you may even want to try using a Dunlop .60mm pick if your playing an acoustic and for electric try something a little thicker like a 1mm.

I wanted to make a guitar pick necklace, but i was wondering if you could punch, or poke, a hole at the top of the pick without it splitting in half? If so, how? Please don't answer if you don't have a good answer!
oh, and the hole has to be big enough to put a strong chain through!

Answer
Today is your lucky day.I have the perfect solution for you.
All you need is a needle, pliers ,cigarette lighter and a platic
guitar pick. Now heat the needle up while holding it with the
pliers and push it through the pick.

Good luck, this works pretty good.Just tried it myself.

Where can I order a personalized guitar pick?

Anna

I am looking for a site that I can design and order a single personalized guitar pick. All of the sites I have found are for mass orders (25+), but I just want one pick..
Thanks in advance

Answer
If a company existed (it doesn't) that would sell just one (1) custom pick, it would likely cost as much as the smallest bulk price. Most of the cost is in the setup, machine operation and labor. That's why the cost per unit goes down quite rapidly as you purchase more of the same design.

There is a "Pick "Punch" which is like a hole punch that is pick shaped. You could get some self-adhesive laminate, print out a design on paper, sandwich it between the laminate and cut it out using the Pick Punch and you would have a reasonable facsimile. Might not be the best pick, but it could work.

I hope to meet my favorite musician and get an autograph/picture. I was thinking i would get a guitar pick and punch a hole in it and have him sign it and it could become a pendant. Any other ideas? So that i can wear it on a pendant?

Answer
uhm. sign a bottle cap!
hahaa.
i would put maybe clear nail polish on top of the pick with the autograph so it doesn't come off.
