My son's electric Fender is now missing 2 strings, they snapped a week ago. A whole new set only costs $5 but neither of us know how to put them on.
Answer
Since it is a Fender look on the back of it, there should be a plastic cover. There should be a big, rectangular hole or 6 small holes on the plastic cover just put which ever string is needed through which ever hole it needs to go in to make it come out of the bridge on the other side. Take the end of the string that you put through the bridge and put it through the tuning key, leave a good bit of slack in it when tightening and make sure it lines up correctly on the saddle on the bridge and the nut on the neck. also make sure you put the right string in the right place, looking down from the playing position the strings should go; E,A,D,G,B,E. It will tell you on the package which ones are what but the thickest one goes on top and the skinniest goes on the bottom. I hope this helped and good luck!
