I am thinking about starting to make guitar cover videos to put on youtube, just for fun. The problem is, I really don't know how to make a good guitar cover. Do I need a camera, or can I just use the camera that is built into my computer? Do I need a special microphone? What all do I need, how do I set up, and just how to do it overall? In detail please. Also, what editing software should I use?

You can just use the camera on your computer. I did that when I first started doing guitar covers but the quality wasn't too good so I bought a Webcam (Microsoft LifeCam VX-2000) that has better quality. You don't have to edit your videos but if you want to have better sound and video effects that would be good. I just use Windows Movie Maker that's built into my computer and I just started using Trakax editing software. This is the website: http://www.trakax.com/
