Can my son use his xbox guitar hero for ps3?

Q. is it universal ? can i just buy a new Game and not the guitar.?

Answer
XBox Guitar Hero guitars are not universal. None of them are, as far as I know. You can't use the XBox guitar with his PS3. Sorry. I think that all playstation guitars are inter-system compatible, if that's any help. All guitars only work with the system they're made for.

How can I make my guitar hero guitar quieter?

I use the Guitar Hero II xplorer guitar for xbox 360 and the strum bar is so loud! Is there any way I can fix the strum bar to be quieter?

Answer
not without slowing down the strum, you can put napkins or something inside the strum bar thingy and it should muffle it a bit but it also might make it impossible to hit really fast notes

I agree it is really annoying, and sometimes even a detriment to playing (especially on two player ugh!) but there is really no good way to fix it

Sorry!

what is the batteries compartment in the back of the rock band guitar for?

guitar xbox image

James G

There is a slot in the back of the rockband guitar(xbox 360) for three AA batteries.

Answer
It's because they used the same guitar that was used for the ps3 version. Which came with a wireless guitar.
I think us 360 owners got screwed on that one.

What is the best wireless guitar for xbox 360?

I want a cheap priced wireless guitar for xbox 360 but which game model's guitar is the best quality?

Answer
If you want the best quality, I would go with the newest one out, which is the one bundled with guitar hero 5. I personally think that the guitar hero world tour guitars are fine as well. But for the longest use, I would buy it new, and not used.

How do i fix the Guitar Hero 2 usb cable?

I have a broken X-plorer Guitar Hero Guitar for Xbox 360. The USB cable seems to be broken. The controller isn't turning on when plugged in to the Xbox. How would i be able to fix this?

Thanks for any help.
I have checked to see if the thing at the end of the wire was the problem. Its not. Also my warranty is definitely voided.

Answer
Well, it's kind of hard to diagnose the problem without seeing the USB connector. The prong inside it might be bent.

Otherwise, there's a connector about 5 inches from the USB. It connects the usb connector to the rest of the cable and the guitar. Check to see if this is fully connected.

That happened with me; I felt like an idiot after yelling at everyone about it. Lol.

If you've done all this and it's still not working, and you haven't done anything to physically break it, like drop it or otherwise harm it, see if your warantee is still valid, and call the manufacturer to see if you might be able to get a replacement.

How do you select guitar in Xbox Live for Guitar Hero World Tour?

guitar xbox image

Everytime I try to play as the guitar for Xbox Live it sets me as bass. How do I play as guitar?

Answer
It depends on what instruments the other people in your band are playing. If there are 2 guitars in the band, you have to decide with your band mate on who will get it, or else it will just be on random. To choose, I believe you press the orange button while you're in the waiting lobby. The option should come up at the bottom of the screen with the colour of the button you have to press and guitar/bass.
So basically, you're looking for "[Orange button] Guitar/Bass"
Once you press the button, the icon beside your gamertag should change to the head of a bass or a guitar.
HOPE THIS HELPS
