guitar xlr cable image

I have an instrument microphone that uses an XLR cable, I want to be able to record sounds from a guitar amp with it and put them into my computer, but of course my computer doesn't have an XLR input, just that small (i guess 1/8'') input for microphones next to the speaker output.. so how can i do this? Do they sell adapters that make this possible?
Answer
Yes you can. You can get cables that are either male or female XLR to 1/8". Though, i don't know how great the quality is going to be once it goes through. You may have some quality or volume issues. I've never tried it. You might consider making the XLR your input and then getting an OUTPUT cable to go to your computer. (I'd guess a 1/2" to 1/8" cable. I could be wrong.)
