On my squier jaguar the knobs that have that black thing on em kinda moved, like I can't move past a certain spot but it still works, its like I took off the knob then put it on a different way

It's most likely that either the nut that holds the pot against the pickguard has come loose so the entire assembly is rotating as you turn the knob, or the set screw that holds the nob on the shaft of the potentiometer has come loose and the nob is just rotating freely. Since you say you can't move it past a certain spot, I'd assume it's not that. Also bear in mind that those volume and tone pots are made to only rotate a certain distance. You can't just keep turning them around and around.
Sorry I can't tell more from your description. If you really think it's a problem, take it back where you bought it (or to a music store if you bought it online), and have them take a look at it. They probably wouldn't charge anything just to look at it and let you know if there's anything wrong with it.
