guitar nylon strings image
Jonathan
I have a classical guitar with nylon strings, and I am wondering if I can use steel strings instead of nylon strings.
Answer
No, you'll destroy the guitar.
Steel strings have to be at a much higher tension to be at pitch, and classical guitars aren't designed to withstand that sort of force.
Your guitar will break in multiple places, if you're lucky.
