Guitar tuner that shows you how to tune to Eb?

I'm looking to buy a guitar tuner that shows you how to tune to a guitar to Eb. I can't do it by ear.

Recommendations?

Danny B has the right idea.

But, it will be better to tune the A string to the 4th fret of the E string first, then tune the A to the 5th fret of the E. If you start out dead on to standard tuning, you will end up dead on in Eb.

After you do that, just tune the rest of the strings normally.

(Depressing how no one seems to know how to tune a guitar by ear anymore)

Where can I find an online guitar tuner, that lets me plug my guitar into the computer, and tune it that way?

I always use an online guitar tuner on some website that just plays an audio of each string, but it's so much harder. I want to plug my guitar into my computer and tune it that way, so it's exact. Any help?

You know they sell tuners for guitars at any music store that you don't need to plug into a computer. They go from 15 to 100 dollars. They have interfaces that can help you plug into a comp for more. Check out musiciansfreind.com

What is a good, reasonably priced guitar tuner?

So, I want to buy my boyfriend a new guitar tuner for christmas, but I know NOTHING about them. I don't want a cheap one, but I don't want to spend too much money for it. My price limit is probably around $50. Any suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks =]

If you watch the auctions, you sometimes can pick up one even cheaper. If you are in a hurry to get it, then there are buy it own listings at a reasonable price. Look around some on eBay for others.

I'm in need of an affordable guitar tuner where you can select different tunes, like standard, half-step down, half-step up, drop C, etc.

Well all a guitar tuner does is tell you what note you're playing, so you need to know what the strings need to be tuned to in the tuning you want.

Can I use a guitar tuner to tune my singing voice?

I haven't had any real vocal practice in a few years. I think I might have a few pitch and tuning problems. Could I use a guitar tuner or for some other instrument to help my singing voice? What would be a better option if not this?

Of course you can use a guitar tuner to check your voice.

It won't work as well as plugging your guitar into it, but if you play a D on your guitar, then try to sing that note, the tuner will definetly indicate how close you are to pitch.

It won't be a perfect system, but it will work.

Also, you can get a "matching-line transformer" maybe $5 at radio shack which will allow you to plug your microphone into the tuner much like a guitar cord.

A better system would be to record yourself singing and playing, and then critically listen back for changes in the pitch of your voice.

I have an acoustic guitar (a Cutaway Dreadnought) and a lot of troubles tuning it. I don't want to spend money on buying a guitar tuner, so please send me a link to the best online guitar tuner you know.

First off, everyone on here who says you can't tune online is an idiot, it's called tuning by ear, and it's not impossible and in fact it's not hard at all. I tune by ear to an online tuner all the time and it works just fine, if not better than my electric tuner.

Go to google, type in "guitar tuner" and click on the first link I think. In fact I'll show you the link: http://www.gieson.com/Library/projects/utilities/tuner/

It's fast, it's cheap, it's easy. All you do is hit the note and then strum the appropriate string on your guitar, then move the tuning peg up or down until the note you hear being played is matched with the note your guitar is playing. Trust me you're ear will be able to hear when it's right. When you've tuned like this you can then tune your guitar to itself just in case. If you don't know how to do that it's easy as well.

Put your finger on the Low E string on the fifth fret. Strum that and then strum the Fifth string open. If they sound alike, they're in tune, if they don't then you need to adjust the FIFTH string. Do the same for all the other strings, except for the third string. On the third string you put your finger on the fourth fret, strum the third string on the fourth fret and the second string open and if they sound alike they're in tune.

Now, getting an electric tuner IS a good idea, but it's simply not necessary.
