I would prefer if you can find me a hard-shell case or one that's got a inside mold to an acoustic guitar. I've looked for a case but I have no experience with what I should get so if you could help that would be much appreciated.

Your guitar's body shape is called a "dreadnought". Since you own a relatively inexpensive instrument, you probably want a low-cost case to match - I'm thinking something like this:

What does concert size mean on a guitar?

I have a Hohner HW200 guitar that i got when i was 8 and now im 13. I looked up the guitar and and it says that it is concert size. What does that mean? Also, my friend said it looks like its a youth guitar. Is that true? Do i need to get a bigger guitar?

concert size is a full sized guitar. Where as many other guitars, even adult ones, are much smaller.

How would I go about bejeweling a guitar?

I would like to know how I can bejewel my guitar. I want to use rhinestones but I dont know what kind of glue to use or if it would effect the sound of the guitar?
So I want to bejewel my guitar. I mean with Rhinestones and Glue, and they would be completely covering the guitar's surface, but what kind of glue would I need so that it would make it sound weird. Will it make it sound weird?

I want to do the same thing! But now I'm worried it's gonna affect the sound too....dang it! I have this ugly circle "decoration" that came on my guitar (a $60 one of ebay lmao) and I want to get rid of it by rhinestoning it. I've been googling and it looks like you can buy rhinestones a rhinestone glue (yes, actual glue specifically made for rhinestone application) from any craft store or online. I'm really considering doing this but I really really hope it doesn't affect the sound.

Taylor Swift supposedly rhinestoned her own guitar with glue and rhinestones (http://media.photobucket.com/image/taylor%20swift%20sparkly%20guitar/allenaw88/taylorswift07_3_v_e.jpg)...and I don't know if it affected the sound of her guitar or not but she still plays with it on stage and everything so I'm guessing not....

Well, we all have different ideas of cheap... These units tend to cost a little bit more than say your average stomp box effect.

How do I make my electric guitar sound like metallica?

Ok so I have a black and white electric guitar ( yamaha ) and I have have an amp thats a Johnson Rep Tone 15. Well whenever I hook my guitar up to the amp it just sounds like an acoustic guitar with a bunch of reverb. I want my guitar to sound more like metallica or megadeth. Please, someone help me!!!! 10 points!!

How to remove/replace knobs on a Les Paul?

I have an Epiphone Les Paul Tribute Plus with push/pull gold speed knobs. I want to replace those with amber top hat bell knobs but I don't know which ones to buy. Do I need to buy knobs that are meant specifically for Les Pauls with push/pull pots or will any Les Paul knobs work? Also,are there any guitar stores that will do it for me?

I replaced the speed knobs on my LP Custom with amber top hats also and it looked great. You don't need special knobs for push/pull pots. I think the LP knobs just pull right off, no set screw.

Does punching a hole in the guitar pick actually stop it from slipping?

Yes it is supposed to keep the pick from slipping.

You can also use either a slightly textured nylon pick or you can take a piece of sandpaper and rough up both sides of your pick a little to create a better grip.

Or you may even want to try using a Dunlop .60mm pick if your playing an acoustic and for electric try something a little thicker like a 1mm.

There are really no "stock strings"
As for what came on the guitar; they were probably some cheap light gauge strings.
You can put whichever brand you like the best. Everybody has there own preferences when it comes to strings. Just pick up a pack and try a few out until you find what feels good to you.
The brand of strings don't affect the tone any but the string gauge does.
I don't know what type of music you play, but I would recommend elixirs because they are coated and last a long time and slide real smooth. And I a medium string gauge for acoustics.

How do you attach a guitar strap to the neck of a guitar?

My acoustic guitar tends to rotate downward when it is played while standing. I've been told that you can stop this by connecting the strap to a shoelace around the neck and above the nut, rather than at the nob at the base of the neck.

The problem is that a shoelace would look lame/trashy with this particular guitar and strap. Any alternatives? Thanks.
