How to thourghly clean an electric guitar bridge?

I just acquired an electric Lyon guitar and the bridge is absoutey filthy. When you are looking down the neck at the bridge there is a. Heaping load of dust and dirt. How do I clean that?

soft bristle tooth brush and compressed air in most cases, but with a low end Lyon who knows what little kids bed its been under, might want to use a hasmat suit or at least rubber gloves and dust mask before touching it. god only know what kind of critters or nastyness could be living on it. sure as heck wasn't in any ones prized collection

What guitar solos should i start playing ive been playing for about 16 months?

I have been playing guitar for about 16 months and i really want to learn to play solos, i am starting to practice scales but i want to know some easy but yet challenging (if that makes any sense) solos for me to start practicing.

hmm I would say: the solos from seek and destroy by metallica because i hear they are based on the common scales, right side of the bed solo by atreyu is pretty easy, Some AC/DC solos are easy, a couple of metallica solos are easy too..but it also depends on what type of music you listen too..but as far as i know those are the easy yet challenging ones..

How much should I sell this guitar and bed frame for?

I'm selling a Red Fender Squier "Starter Kit" so the guitar, amp, chords, gig bag, and new strings (on the guitar.) In perfect condition, no nicks or scratches or anything. I bought this with a DVD and picks with the standard strings for $225.

Also a full size sleigh bed frame, dismantled. I don't think I'll get a lot for this but it's just a sleigh bed frame, maybe 1 or 2 nicks and scratches but really in fine condition. This was a hand-me-down so I don't know how much it's actually worth.

How much for the guitar and the frame separately? (Approximately?) By the way, I'm selling these on craigslist in Arizona.

Guitar would probably go for about 100 bucks, I know nothing about bed frames except that they're super expensive when you buy them new

boys room decorating opinions/ideas please for bedding?

Hello; here's the plans in progress for a teen boys room that's sort of city/industrial chic style.

These black metal loft beds are on the way:

Okay, so what I am trying to decide is bedding, I want it to introduce pattern & an accent color around the room. I'm torn between something with red or something with lime green. Should also have black and/or white and/or gray mixed in.

I have to agree with the poster who said that this loft bed is not right for a teen boy.It is small and not strong. You could go for a full size or even a twin XL .

How to remove a dent from acoustic guitar body?

I was playing my new ibanez acoustic guitar last night and i wacked the body of the guitar against my bed and now theres a small indentation in the body of my guitar. I would like to know a harmless way to remove this dent. it is a small dent and any help is appreciated

How can I make a remote switch for my guitar amp?

I'm planning on wall mounting my guitar amp in a corner and I want to know how to make a remote switch so I can have my guitar by my bed and just pick up and play. Could I use old RC car parts? How long would the battery for the receiver last (to see if its even worth the trouble) any information you can give will help.

If you are handy with electronics I don't see why using old RC car parts wouldn't work. You could use one channel interfaced to a power relay to turn the amp off and on and re-purpose the steering servo to control volume. If you do use them that way I would power the receiver with an AC power adapter rather than battery power so you don't have to worry about the battery running out on the receiver.
