Where is it best to place pick holder on guitar?

I just got a new pick holder you can attach to your guitar. It's an adhesive but it's completely safe for the paint. I'm wondering where it would be best to place it. For easy access and so it's out of the way. Thank you in advance. :)

I keep mine above the bridge of my bass guitar.
