Do they tuning pegs/keys on a guitar affect the sound quality of the guitar? Can they decrease or improve sound quality?
Answer
Changing the weight of the tuning machines will probably have a very slight effect on sound quality, on account of changing the mass of the peghead. But it's probably going to be undetectable to the average human being (or even most musicians).
