Can i use my wireless xbox360 controller for my computer to play games?

I have an Xbox 360 wireless controller, and I know it is able to connect with a pc running windows if there is a USB dongle. but my real question is this. i have the Microsoft wireless adapter for a wireless keyboard and mouse, is it able to connect to an xbox 360 wireless controller?

i have tried to connect the two with the usb adapter but it doesn’t seem to pick up the controller.

Nope. We tried this too, but found that only the wired controller , guitar her and rock band guitars worked on the PC. Shame.

i have a wireless les paul XBOX 360 controller and i was wondering if it would work with with pc version of gh3? all i can find is drivers for the XPLORER guitar, not the wireless les paul. is there a way for the les paul to work with GH3 for pc?

ya and if you find a wireless les paul you need to buy a $50 wireless adapter for the computer microsoft is a rip off o.O

Very much doubt it. Otherwise it would be possible to do it with all controllers (wireless) and what would be the point in that?

No It Isnt Possiple Because They Are 2 Different Brands And 2 Different Consoles.. If They Did Come Out With Something Like That YOu Would Need Some Sort Of Connector.
