Does a wireless x360 guitar will work with the receiver from the wireless x360 controller for windows?

Just got Guitar hero 3 for the Xbox 360 and I am wondering if I can use the receiver from a "wireless xbox 360 controller for windows" with the guitar, to use on the PC.

no it wouldn't they might be both microsoft but they are not designed in any way to function with eachother
