Whats the average price for a great quality electric guitar?

For a nice quality electric Gibson. Because I don't want to get a like 300$ guitar, buy it and figure out it's a piece of junk! Please and thank you!

You could try the Gibson Les Paul Studio, which is less expensive than the more common model. It's meant for 'guitarists in the studio', which basically means it's all functional, none to little cosmetics. the average price is like $700-$900, which is a really good bargain. For example, if you wanted a good Gibson SG, you'd have to go for like $1500-$2000.

Is there any way to prevent a satin finish on a guitar from wearing down?

Just curious because I might get a satin finish electric guitar (Gibson Melody Maker) and I'm afraid that the finish will wear away.

Worn finish = extra mojo. Great choice in guitars by the way. I've been gassin' for one of those myself.

Hi i need to know how much my 1951 electric acoustic gibson guitar is worth? Its costom made and in amazing condition!

Are you sure its an electric acoustic? That would be VERY unusual. If f it really is custom made that would be VERY unusual too. What it was worth would be very difficult to estimate as it would be one of a kind. That, on it's own might not mean that is was worth a lot of money though.
