How do i change the batteries in my guitar pedal?

i have a digitech guitar pedal and the battery died. how do you change the battery??

Answer
I don't have any Digitech pedals but most that I have you take the bottom off of. A couple of mine have a battery compartment but most I have to remove the screws that hold the rubber feet on and then remove that bottom panel. I finally got lazy enough to buy a powered pedal board.
