I'm getting my friend a hard-shell electric guitar case as a present. His guitar is custom made from a local guitar legend. I know how some of the styles look, but I was wondering if anyone knew a site where I could compare it to most all common styles of electric guitar, or maybe know common dimensions of such?

I would look for a universal guitar case or something of that sort. Most likely it will be a double cutaway guitar like a strat or an ibanez, or it will be single cutaway like a les paul or a paul reed smith.
