What is the best bass guitar hanger?

Is there a system that hangs the guitar vertically (I don't like the angled ones) that has something that the bottom of the guitar can rest on, as well as the holder for the neck? My bass guitar is quite heavy, and I'm worried the regular hangers might put strain on the neck. It could be like a floor stand, which cradles the bottom, but instead sticks out of the wall. I couldn't find anything like that, so I am thinking about making one. Does anyone know of anything like that?
