Is it rare for someone to play a right handed guitar left handed?

i play a right handed guitar left handed ppl always find it a surpirse n they say its hard to play tht way. i was just wondering if its unique or if anybody can do it. i was left handed growing up n i was forced to write w/my right so could that be the reason why i feel comfortable playing like that?

not unique, but rare.
It is usually but not always a handicap. It is next to impossible for someone to show you something new that you could pick up by watching them.
