Basically I want to be able to change my voice live, without any technology except for a microphone, a guitar pedal (such as a flanger, wah-wah, or overdrive), and an amp. My idea is that I can plug the mic into the pedal and then the pedal to the amp, and I can use it just as I would a pedal for a guitar.

Answer
Hi,

Absolutely! All you're talking about is modifying an electrical signal. Any audio that goes into a pedal can come out. There's even a Beastie Boys song where a guy modifies his turntable through a wah-wah pedal.

Give it a shot!
