acooustic guitar? Bass guitar? electric guitar?
Like, if these kids really want to pursue a career in the music business as musicians.
Answer
A guitarist that knows how to teach could do the task, but it would be a long drawn-out event because each student learns at different paces. To have 30 kids simultaneously play a G chord would be almost chaotic and the instructor would need to visit each of the students to determine if fingers are placed correctly.
The same process would continue with each chord demonstrated. Music theory may come easier and faster paced because each student would have to take notes for their understanding. Yet even then many questions could surface that would take time away from other students and their development.
The guitarist instructor would need nerves of steel and the patience of Job. I would never consider the option of teaching electric guitar to a bunch of students because of deafening amplifiers in one location. I would teach the basics to students carrying acoustic guitars having no amplification.
