What is the piece called that is in the bridge of an electric guitar that holds the string in?

In my epiphone xplorer wannabe the bridge has six little gold knobs the strings are on that hold them in the bridge when i broke my 1st string i lost the piece so i need to know what its called to go buy a new one 2morrow

These are called saddles, and since the Explorer uses the same bridge as the Les Paul, you are looking for replacement saddles for a Tune-o-matic bridge. Here are a couple of internet sites that sell them, but they are so common, you should be able to find them in your local guitar shop.
