Is there any way to cut the headstock off of a guitar neck and epoxy or otherwise attach one of your own?

I recently acquired a guitar neck that I plan to use on one of my own, however the headstock is awful and the tuners will not stay in tune. And so i was wondering if there was anyway to replace it with one of my own.

Note: while all helpful suggestions are welcome, I ask that all specific instructions only come from people who have experience with guitar building/.maintenance. Thank you.

Answer
Although it may technically be possible, I have never heard of anyone actually doing it. I have heard of repairing a cracked headstock, but not replacing a headstock.
If your tuners do not stay in tune, either replace your tuners, or check the bridge.

If you are interested in having a neck with a custom made headstock, you can make your own. Check the site below.
As for replacing the headstock... bad idea. Even if you went to a shop, it would cost you more than buying a new neck.
Get yourself some halfway decent tuning pegs and replace the ones you have. If you want, throw some paint on the headstock and make a design of your own... or sand it to bare wood and put some poly on it. Don't try cutting it... you might as well use it for firewood.
