What is a good guitar recording device that plays back?

So basically I want to play a background guitar rhythm then have it loop so I can play a solo over it. Something cheap too. Anything close to $100 or cheaper

I do not believe there is anything in your price range. So, save your money and in the meantime, you can practice with Audacity (free recording software). It will not work for a live performance, but, you can record and playback with it and it should work great for practice while you are saving up for a loop station. Here is what is available ...

I DO NOT recommend the Electro-Harmonics or Rocktron Loopers. They just do nto sound very good. You need to sound like a professional if you intend to do anything with your music. So, the very best equipment with the best sound is BOSS.
