What other instrument should i learn to play?

besides piano. i'm looking for something colleges would be impressed with. i already play guitar. would they count bass guitar if i played it? what about a recorder? something unique would be good i guess. but the two i'm thinking of are bass guitar and recorder.

Learn bass guitar and the drums ...the recorder is what a 3rd grader music class uses.
