My guitar wiring is torn apart how much would it cost to fix and how much would it cost to replace?

Answer
Depends on whether the pickups are damaged or not. If they are you can reckon on quite a few pennies (£20/$30 upwards each) to replace them depending on what quality you go for. The rest of the parts, wire, capacitors, switches and potentiometers are relatively cheap and you should be able to get them all for under a tenner. If you have someone rebuild it for you it's about an hour's job, maybe a bit more if they have to strip the guitar down, to sort out a guitar's wiring from scratch so you'll have to factor in the cost of an hour or so's labour in addition to the hardware.
