Guitar Guy
So guys o don't know much about guitars! and i want to know what is the difference between one electroacoustic and one acoustic guitar?
Answer
An acoustic guitar is one that operates acoustically, it works without the need of electronic amplification. It is basically a wooden box with strings attached.
An electro-acoustic guitar is exactly the same as the above, except it has some kind of pick up built in (usually built into the bridge and "invisible") that allows the guitar to be connected to a suitable amplifier, PA system, recorder, effect pedal etc. It does not sound like an electric guitar when "plugged in" it is designed to sound like an acoustic guitar, only louder.
