Im 17 years old with absolutely no experience in guitars, electric guitasr, bass guitars and what not. I've suddenly developed a passion for electric guitar. Is it too late for me? A person who is about to graduate high school?

Nope, most great guitarists such as Eddie van Halen, Jimmy Page, etc. started learning the electric guitar later on and turned out to be unbelievable. It all comes down to your drive and determination as well as your natural talent. I for instance started playing the guitar about a year ago and am just as good as a friend of mine who has been playing for four or five years.
