guitar quick release strap image

I have a 2005 American Made Fender Stratocaster. Weighs about 8-9 pounds. What would be the strongest strap locks for doing guitar flips?
By guitar flips, I mean throwing my guitar over my shoulder. Like how Pete Wentz does it, or Saosin.
Answer
Hello, Tyler! Although I am not positive as to what you mean by a guitar flip, the Schaller (see http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Hardware,_parts/Electric_guitar:_Strap_buttons/1/Schaller_Strap_Security_Locks.html ) or Grover (see http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Hardware,_parts/Electric_guitar:_Strap_buttons/Grover_Quick-release_Strap_Locks.html ) style is very strong and pretty much foolproof! They are available from many on-line vendors, retail shops, and of course eBay. Use longer than the standard attachment screws for the buttons, just to make sure they do not pull out of the body. Best regards, Dana
P.S. Then yes, Schaller or Grover; and most definitely, buy longer screws! Best regards, Dana
