guitar tuning pegs image

My acoustic guitar becomes untuned very quickly and I was wondering if new tuning pegs would keep this from happening so often? They're cheap ones, and loose, so that's a major issue. The guitar its self is fine and I don't see how it could make the strings untune. Do I buy new ones? If so, could you give me a link to suggested ones if you have any? My guitar is a First-Act acoustic, so it's a crappy one.

There could be many problems. If you think the old pegs were worse than the new ones then probably now it will happen less frequently than before. Anyway, I guess you also changed the strings so at the beginning it will happen frequently because they are new. If they become untuned frequently even after a while that you're using them, then you should probably buy better pegs...
But first of all you should remember to pay attention to changes in temperature, and make sure that the guitar itself doesn't have defects and that the strings are in the correct position.
Also, if old guitars are not well maintained and are not such good quality, they use to untune quickly and there's not much to do.
