guitar building image

How is the guitar built that so that they are easier to play fast on?
A popular feature of Ibanez and Schecter guitars. Might just be an advertising gimmick, but I don't think so...never played one of those guitar before, but I'd definetly like to but a Schecter in the future.
Answer
The frets are lower and some have little "dents"(?) inthe back to make it easier to find chord sequences without looking. They will likely have a very low action to them. They are easier to play because the strings and frets are lower but you have to spend more time maintaining it to avoid those annoying buzzes you get when the string vibrates on the next fret.
A high quality guitar will be built that way anyway, so it IS a bit of an advertising gimmick. Sorry, I've never played a Schecter so I can't comment on those.
P.S. Buy a Fender ;-)
